Brierz rates the public record of every Hyperliquid vault with money in it, under one fixed method. Nobody asks for a rating and nobody pays for one. This page is for the people behind the 2,939 vaults we check.
The score, 0 to 100, is how much evidence of skill the record holds. 50 means none either way. The 90% range around it says how sure the method is; when the range includes 50, luck can’t be ruled out, whatever the tier. The tier is the plain-words version of the score.
A rating is about the past record. It is not a forecast, and it does not say whether anyone should deposit in your vault. Average is not a bad grade. It means the record can’t yet separate skill from luck, which is the normal state of a young or quiet record. Most vaults we check are not rated at all: 2,674 of 2,939.
Time and consistency. A longer record under the same method, results that hold across months and assets, and risk the record survives. Depositors’ money moving in and out is left out of the return, so attracting deposits neither helps nor hurts. Your own money moving in and out does not help either: when it is large next to the vault’s capital, the record can’t be rated at all.

Missing trades, wrong capital, a deposit counted as a trade. Show us, and we recompute under the same method.
Every correction is dated and listed in the method’s change log, with its effect.

Each reason is a statement about the record, not about you. When the record changes, the result changes. The common ones:
The leader's own deposits and withdrawals are large relative to the vault's capital; reported returns would primarily reflect capital movements rather than trading. Depositor flows are not counted.
The record contains too few independent decisions to distinguish skill from chance.
The history is too short or too flat to measure return relative to risk.
No trades by the vault are recorded since the start of the data.
The 90% range is too wide or too unstable to support a tier.
The range could not be estimated reliably, or the history is insufficient to estimate it.
A required input was missing, partly retrieved or read at a different time from the others. The vault is reassessed in the next cycle.
The vault's value curve and its trade-level results point in opposite directions, indicating that one of them is unreliable.
A required input was missing, partly retrieved or read at a different time from the others. The vault is reassessed in the next cycle.
The history is too large for the current calculation. Partial records are not rated.
Insufficient time has elapsed to support an assessment.
Every vault has a badge: an image that carries the tier, the score, the 90% range and the data date, and links to the page. It updates with the data, so it never says more than the page does.
